Join local art historian, Joan Quinn, for a slide presentation and lively talk on French Impressionism.
This presentation will focus on some of the most famous impressionist artists and their works. Paintings by Monet, Renoir and Cassatt will be included in the discussion. There will be time at the end of the presentation for questions.
Registration is requested by 1 day before the event to gauge space.
We are hosting this event at the Pyngyp Schoolhouse (303 NY-210, Stony Point, NY 10980)- an historic one-room schoolhouse located in Stony Point in Rockland County, New York. It was built around 1915, and is a one-story, rectangular wood-frame building with modest Gothic style detailing. It has a steeply pitched gable roof topped by a belfry and two entry doors.
